Yellow arrows show the capacitors that have been removed. The ones on the left (3.547 MHz Filter) had been changed to 39pf to widen the bandwidth. Not a bad idea when just using one crystal also. The "Q" is so high with these crystals that a wide bandwidth is hard to obtain. The white arrows point to the jumpers that are installed between the remaining crystal and the last capacitor before the output transformer. |
