Using the Optional Large RF Choke on Board 1

The yellow arrow points to the 100 uH RF Choke. This RF Choke needs to be mounted standing up as shown.

This choke is necessary if you are using a Super Bright LED next to the 10.545 VFO relay. It also helps lower the voltage drop to the right side of the board, but makes no difference in receiver performance.
