41 Meter and 31 Meter Bands
41 Meter Band - 7.100 to 7.595 MHz
31 Meter Band - 9.350 to 10.000 MHz
With the Bandpass switch on the 40/30 side, the 41 Meter and 31 Meter SWL bands can be received. They are tuned in using the Bandpass Filter Tune Potentiometer, located in front of the Bandpass Filters.
41 Meter band:
The receiver will tune the 41 meter band between 7.300 to 7.600 MHz.
31 Meter band:
The receiver will tune the 31 meter band between 9.500 to 10.000 MHz
19 Meter and 16 Meter Bands
19 Meter Band - 15.000 to 15.710 MHz
16 Meter Band - 17.500 to 17.900 MHz
With the Bandpass switch on the 20/17 side, the 19 Meter and 16 Meter SWL bands can be received. They are tuned in using the Bandpass Filter Tune Potentiometer, located in front of the Bandpass Filters.
19 Meter band:
There is a 53 kHz section in the middle of the band (depending on the bandspread of the main tuning capacitor) that is not received. Slight adjustment of the Bandpass pot will be needed when switching between the upper and lower sections of the band.
The receiver will tune the 19 meter band between 15.000 to 15.400 MHz and 15.453 to 15.710 MHz.
16 Meter band:
The receiver will tune the 16 meter band between 17.500 to 17.900 MHz.
This potentiometer can be either 5K or 10K. As the pot is turned clockwise, volume should increase.
If volume decreases, switch the leads to the outer ends of the soldering tabs.
A plastic/insulated knob should be used, as hum and commercial stations can be picked up through your hand into the pot to the audio amplifier.
